“Never underestimate the power of a woman with a yoga mat!” - I will always remember my yoga training teacher Wenche saying that.

I feel like a phoenix that has risen from the fire. Strong, yet soft, I have been quietly nourishing this essence through yoga so she can rise.
Yoga has played a huge role in this transformation for me - it has been a real metamorphosis. It has brought me a profound sense of understanding and awareness of me, a real deep insight. It’s the journey of understanding myself, of self discovery on so many levels. To know what brings me joy and contentment, to make me feel strong and safe.
It’s been a journey of growth, change and a real sense of awareness. The more I have become self aware, the more joy has spread out, which ripples out to others and life, anchoring me in the here and now and not in a ruminating mind.
When you’re in the present moment, you really find out who you are. It’s always been my dream to be a yoga therapist - to help people and to share all this amazing knowledge in a holistic way. Isn’t it everyone’s dream to make the world a better place?
We are all made of the same atoms, we all breathe the same air, why not put a little bit more compassion and softness out there. We all have the wisdom within us to nourish ourselves
So by being a guide to illuminate a little light and warmth into people, guiding them along the way to find tools and practices to bring some serenity and peace, that feels a good thing to do.
Yoga is for free, you just make some time to keep up showing up for your practice and yourself and it can bring you such freedom.
